Well, we are still working away on our almost year long project of remodeling our home...Several months ago we started on the backyard...It was terrible to begin with, not a blade of grass one! Adam had our chain link fence put up for the dogs, then we laid all new sod, that was fun...Now last weekend, Adam and about 20 of his guys worked allday Saturday and Sunday on the installation of the landscape. They cut and removed the sod where the beds were designed to go, tilled and prepared the dirt to created many curved beds creating a beautiful "cottage" backyard - its more than I ever dreamed of. Adam did an AMAZING job with his selections. We planted azeleas, hydrangeas, gardenias, japanese maples, and many other beautiful plants...It just looks AWESOME! The dogs just love it too! Jessie and Snowball love to paruse or prance through the fresh pine scented mulch and nose around the flowers(not making me very happy).
This weekend we are headed to Amarillo to meet our newest niece "Madiclaire"...I cant wait to see the kids, Hannah and Connor are growing like weeds...We only get to see them every few months or so...It will be nice to spend a relaxing weekend, playing with the kids and spending time with Matt and Amy. Oh yeah, its cold there...I heard on the news yesterday, its like 45 degrees. Burrr....
